26Fe is a 2v2 Capture the Flag and First Person Tower Defence hybrid, in which players take turns, initially Setting Up their base with traps and defenses and afterwards venturing to capture the cores (flag) of the enemy team, while they (enemy) defend their base utilizing the traps and defenses they have already set up. Once they have finished their attack they have to retreat to their own base in order to defend their own cores.

 

Red and Blue Teams take about 2 minutes to Set Up traps around their bases.

 

To do that, they use up a number of Cores.

 

Set Up:

  • Economy
    • Cores
      • Used to create traps
      • Each traps needs different amount of cores
      • Need to utilize all of them.
  • Trap Placement
    • Each player
      • Controls a Drone
        • Can Place Trap
        • Anywhere on the grid of their base.

 

 

Attack:

  • Objective:
    • Reach end of the level as fast as you can
  • Attack Robots
    • Jet-pack Upwards
    • Navigate and avoid traps

Defense:

  • Objectives:
    • Equip your facility
    • Slow your opponents down as much as possible
  • Drones:
    • Maintain Traps
      • Reset them
      • Give them Energy

 

 

The game is heavily based on the level design principle of Verticality.

The bases are identical and both have 3 floors.

Each floor has increasingly less grid spots available for the players to set up their traps.

Within the last week, we managed to cross out all of the items of this list in an intense crunch time.
